Section 1: Settings, updates, and help.
All the usual stuff in here. Most people won't need to access it. Also contains some features to provide help in case of errors.
This will turn VERY green when updates are available. You can even force-check for updates with the little button there.
Section 2: Mod controls
This is where you choose experimental (mods do not currently work, use early access) / early access versions, epic or steam, linux versions and so on.
These are mod lists - You can export/import via the settings menu, create a new list, rename a list, or delete it. You can also share them with friends if you want to play modded multiplayer.
Creates a new mod list
Renames the current list
Deletes the current list
Choose filters for mod browsing, such as: Compatible, favourites, installed, not installed.
How do you want the mods organised? Last update? Newset? Oldest? Most popular? Name?
Type here to find things in the list. Don't forget to clear it!
SECTION 3: The mod list
THE MOD BROWSER LIST
Here on the left you will see mod icons, mod name, the eye icon (eyecon) shows views, the download icon shows...downloads. You can use the mouse wheel to scroll through the list.
You can click a mod to show expanded info to the right. This will load a version of the mod page which can include details about using the mod, pictures, videos and so on. If you don't know how to use a particular mod, this is where you will find instructions and keys.
On the right are all the actions. You have a favourite star, and that little square icon is a check-box to install or unistall a mod.
SECTION 4: The launch button
When this is green you can launch the game from the mod manager (but you don't have to use it)
If it's grey then the game is still running or the manager is loading.
You don't have to use the launch button to run the game, it's just a handy option.
EXPANDED MOD INFO
SECTION 5: MOD STATS
Nothing crazy here, you get a larger version of the mod icon, and info about who made the mod, plus some stats. You can also select different versions of the mod. At the bottom of this column is a 'close' button which will close the expanded mod info area.
SECTION 6: RIGHT SIDE
This is where all the mod page info is kept. If the modder has decided to enter info, this can show as much or as little detail as they wanted to supply.
SECTION 7: BOTTOM LINE
Just a couple simple buttons here:
Favourite: Add or remove the mod from your favourites list
Install Mod: Allows you to install or uninstall the mod.
It's all fairly simple, but things do go wrong some times. If the mod manager works, try the HELP menu which includes a link to our discord.
When launching the game with mods for the first time: It could take a while. Should be quicker after that.
Who made this? Mircea coded it
Who designed this? Deantendo
Who made the website? Vilsol

Wait, what is SML and SMM?
SMM is the Satisfactory Mod Manager - It downloads mods and helps you install or remove them. It's the bit you've been reading about above.
SML is Satisfactory Mod Loader - This is what puts the mods into the game.
SMR is this website. Satisfactory Mod Repository
